TERI and VNV have entered/will enter into a bilateral agreement for the development of this Project titled “Developing a voluntary carbon market project with KCC for agroforestry plantation in the state of Haryana, India”

Carbon farming can become a major rural income revolution if implemented fairly and scientifically. Haryana already has strong agroforestry traditions, active farmer networks, and supportive plantation policies.

With proper aggregation, transparent systems, scientific monitoring, and institutional support, farmers can benefit financially while contributing to climate action and environmental restoration.
