The 9th Annual Conference of the Kisan Chamber of Commerce (KCC) was successfully organized on 9 July 2026 at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi, bringing together eminent policymakers, agricultural scientists, industry leaders, academicians, legal experts, media representatives, and progressive farmers to deliberate on the future of Indian agriculture.
The conference focused on the theme "Transforming Indian Agriculture: Innovation, Carbon Markets and Farmers' Prosperity", highlighting the need for sustainable farming, climate resilience, technological advancement, and greater income opportunities for farmers.
Inaugural Session
The programme commenced with the Lighting of the Lamp, symbolizing the beginning of the conference.
Suresh Deswal, General Secretary of the Kisan Chamber of Commerce, provided information about the organization's vision, achievements, and future action plan through a brief presentation.
Welcome Address
Sh. Jitender Mor, President, Kisan Chamber of Commerce, welcomed the distinguished guests and participants. He emphasized that the Chamber is committed to becoming a national platform connecting farmers with technology, industry, policymakers, and global markets. He stressed the urgent need for:

Tripartite Agreement & MoU Signing
The conference witnessed an important milestone with the announcement and signing of a Tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The participants agreed to jointly work towards enabling small and marginal farmers to benefit from emerging global carbon markets.
The MoU signing ceremony was followed by lunch and networking.
