OUR AIM
The Kisan Chamber of Commerce, the apex body of agrarian communities, is diligently advocating agricultural policies and research as a think tank. Over the past few years, considerable efforts have been made to formulate policies and suggestions that will increase Indian farmers' income, productivity, and global competitiveness. The Chamber plays a vital role in defining the agri-policy framework and economic ecosystem of the nation, striving to privilege small and marginal farmers with dignity and respect for their sustainable advancement.
OUR MISSION
The Kisan Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, state governments, and key stakeholders, promotes public-private partnerships in agri warehousing, farm mechanization, secondary agriculture, risk management, and e-marketing reforms. It organizes a flagship agriculture exhibition to showcase modern technologies and foster idea exchange. Despite its declining contribution, agriculture remains vital to the Indian economy, supporting industrial and international trade and employing a significant portion of the population.
OUR OBJECTIVE
The Kisan Chamber of Commerce strives to empower farmers by addressing key challenges in Indian agriculture, such as technology access, trade barriers, and supply chain complexities. It promotes sustainable agriculture through policy discussions, technological advancements, and partnerships at national and global levels. The Chamber advocates for state and industry support to boost FPOs, agribusinesses, and startup ventures, while facilitating knowledge sharing and enhancing agricultural efficiencies. Through collaborative platforms, it highlights opportunities for value-added agriculture and fosters dialogue among stakeholders to tackle farmer distress effectively.

Agriculture in India remains a cornerstone for livelihood and employment for the vast rural population. Despite its pivotal role in the national economy, the sector grapples with numerous challenges.
- Shrinking Land Holdings: As land gets subdivided over generations, the size of individual land holdings diminishes, affecting productivity.
- Incomplete Land Reforms: Many land reforms remain unimplemented, leaving farmers without clear land ownership or rights.
- Degradation of Resources: Soil and water resources are increasingly degraded, compromising agricultural sustainability.
